Polypropylene strap is used typically used for corrugate boxes, pack bundling and light weight carton closure applications.The basic benefits include low cost, flexibility, ability to be used in high speed strapping machinery (such as semi auto bundle strappers as well as fully auto large arch machines)

The strap generally has (on a like for like basis) less break strength than PET strap. It is also used with a manual application which includes a ratchet type tensioner and polypropylene buckles,open seals or closed seals.
